RT dani bauer<br>I’ve been using ChatGPT Voice with Codex, and it’s changing how I get work done.<br><br>Codex already lets me hand work to agents, but Voice means I don’t have to be sitting at my laptop to keep directing them.<br><br>I can be out on a run, walking somewhere, or literally driving and still check in hands-free:<br>– Walk me through the PRD, Slack channels, Notion docs, and GitHub PRs<br>– Let's make a launch plan<br>– What finished?<br>– Pause that and prioritize this<br>– What got stuck?<br>– What needs my decision?<br>– Show me the tradeoff between two options (or more!)<br>– Let’s try the concise version<br><br>That is much more interesting to me than Voice as dictation. I’m not just speaking a prompt I could have typed. I’m staying in an ongoing conversation with work that is already moving.<br><br>The agents can do the slow, tool-heavy parts while I keep supplying judgment: clarifying the goal, answering questions, catching a bad direction, and deciding what should happen next.<br><br>It makes Codex feel less like a tool I need to sit down and operate and more like a team I can stay in conversation with as I move through my day.<br><br>Voice doesn’t do the work for me, but it keeps me in the loop while the agents do.<br><br>And yes, I’m literally talking this post through with Voice while one of those agents helps me write it 😉
