Reese<br>Reintroducing the multAIplayer Alpha!<br><br>Free, open source macOS app and CLI for trusted teams to build with Codex, together: discuss the work, steer one shared local Codex session, review what it changes, and hand hosting between teammates.<br><br>Built-in in the desktop app: Monaco editing and diffs, xterm.js terminals, web previews, Git, PRs, room-wide local development previews using CloudFlare Quick Tunnels, and CI.<br><br>Encrypted with (unaudited) RFC 9420 MLS via mls-rs.<br><br>Teamwork is shared over a free hosted relay, with the option to self-host as well!<br><br>Built on the Codex app-server <br><br>multAIplayer does not use a custom system prompt. It sends host-approved room context as normal Codex turn input, while the active host controls the local project, sandbox, tools, and approvals.<br><br>When a host needs to step away (or runs out of Codex usage) a teammate can take over using their own machine, Codex access, and project checkout.<br><br>The open-source macOS Alpha is for trusted-team testing (or you can self-host it and go wild).<br><br>Not associated with OpenAI.
